I’m not sure if this is a KZN term or a South African term ... Bottom line after meeting and chatting to Murdernova / Farmtruck / Azn , they have taught me that they are just a bunch of simple guys that because famous just doing what they do best . Being themselves and racing. In South Africa 🇿🇦, we have been looking at it all wrong , letting our diversity separate us instead of celebrating it. I owe everything to Motorsport . I would have never met as many people in my life as I have if it was not for Motorsport/ Racing. This includes my life partner , close friends and business partners. For that I will always be grateful. Gas Motorshow this year will take place on the 13-14 June 2020. Thereafter we will travel to Dezzi Raceway on the 16th of June to attempt the impossible , put up the BIGGEST CASH PRiZE in South Africa 🇿🇦Drag History. It will be an invitational event , I don’t care if you run a 20s Quartermile or 6s , times count for nothing , it’s Heads Up Racing , knockouts , winner takes all in each class. Various Classes including Aspirated to Pro Mods Classes. To sweeten up the deal NO DRAG ENTRY FEE. Rule 1 - All cars will be have to be in Durban on the 12th of June 2020. Rule 2 - Over the Gas Motorshow weekend , independent judges will put all cars in classes . Rule 3 - 10 cars per class max. Rule 4- 1 Shakedown run. Rule 5 - Knockouts per class no 2nd Place. There will be National and International coverage. Sponsorship opportunities and most importantly , Dragging rights . Drops Mic 🎤.... Seasons greetings racers . All entries will open for the 29 February Dezzi event this week. We have planned trips with RACESA in March at Killarney International Raceway as well as Ugan Naidoo in October with Tuner Wars. The only way we can grow is to support one another. The June 16th is an invitational event which will commence a day after Gas Motorshow which takes place on the 13-14 June 2020. As a boy I grew up always wanting to know who was the fastest racer on the Street , now I want to know who’s the baddest in South Africa 🇿🇦 with representation from all provinces , I’m putting my money where my mouth is. 🇿🇦 GasMotorshow 2020 Loading ... So as of this morning all our focus and energy is going into Gas Motorshow 2K2K. Venue to be confirmed , Dates will be June 13-14 with a second element added on June 16. I was watching the Razor Customs coverage on ignition last night courtesy of Raziek Rajah and I was proud... I was proud of South African Car culture 🇿🇦. Yes we did have international guests in the terms of Street Outlaws royalty but 95% of Gas Motorshow was truly South Africa ; The Hotrods , Promods , Spinners , Drifters , Custom cars , Chefs , Bikes , Classics , Sound Cars , Exhibitors were all form home. So how do we go BIGGER , how do we surpass 180 exhibitors , 25123 patrons , 20000squ/m , 64 elements over 3 days ? How can we make it better ? What do you want to see ? Over the next 5 months we want to work with more sponsors , more creatives , more influencers , Durban Tourism , more inspiring and talented individuals that want to be part of Gas Motorshow 2020. So after the first Day of Gas Motorshow last year we realized very quickly that this event didn’t belong to us but to every single one of you. Our diversity is our strength .
